To upgrade your instrument with a new firmware flash you must use the Biosystems Flash Upload
utility software.
The PhD Lite requires the use of IrDA communication to
upload the firmware flash.
Notes:
This firmware version is designed for older PhD Lite with 2mb memory chip.
If your PhD Lite displays OTP version 1.10 during startup or if the
current firmware version of you PhD Lite is version 1.29 or greater, then you
do not have an older PhD Lite with a 2mb memory chip.

If you are unsure of the memory chip size in your PhD Lite you may
download both versions. The PhD Lite flash upload utility will not
allow you to install the incorrect version.
