Flash Upload Utilities - Installation Instructions
 

  1. Close out any applications that are running other than your Internet browser (Explorer, Netscape, etc).

  2. Download the current Flash Upload Utility

  3. You will be prompted to decide whether you would like to Run the program, Save the program or Cancel. Select Run if you'd prefer to run it from the Internet, or Save to save it to your local drive.

  4. If you are running the program directly, you may be prompted with a security warning. Select Run. If you have saved it to your local drive, locate it and run it.

  5. Select Yes or Next through several screens. Once the installation is complete, icons will be created on your desktop and you will be prompted to restart your PC. Select Restart the PC.

  6. When the PC restarts, there will be icons on your desktop representing various Biosystems instruments.

  7. Click on the appropriate instrument and follow the instructions given.

Note: An IrDA connection is required for the MultiVision, MultiPro, PhD Lite and ToxiPro. A download cradle is required for the PhD5 and PhD Ultra.
